The Darkglass Alpha Omega 200 Bass Head is an impressively mighty but mini amplifier. It offers the hugely versatile Alpha Omega drive engine in a form small enough to fit in a backpack. But its size certainly isn't a drawback! Because with 200W of power, together with speaker, headphone, and DI outputs, you've got more choice in operation than a traditional amplifier. Plug it in for a quick jam, or take it on the road as your main tone workhorse, the Alpha Omega won't restrict you.

It's able to generate crunch tones that range from subtle, edge of breakup through to raucous saturation, so you've got plenty of sonics to play with. Even better, the Alpha Omega contains two distinct distortion circuits for extra dynamic tone sculpting. Alpha serves up a tight, punchy response, and Omega roars out with brutal, raw tones. Complete with a 4-band EQ for precision control, and a handy push/push mute in the Master setting, the Alpha Omega 200 is ready to deliver distortion at home, on the road or in the studio.

Choose between two drive mighty distortion circuits. Alpha offers a tight, punchy attitude with tonnes of definition, an excellent setting for standing out in a mix and retaining some clarity in your biting tone.

But if you want no holds barred distortion, then the Omega circuit will provide just that! Offering brutal, raw sonics, it's the circuit to select when you need heavy fuzz.

Shape the tone to your liking

Dial in the tone to your precise requirements. The Alpha Omega 200 is equipped with Blend, Bass, Mids, and Treble controls to sculpt the sound. Blend allows you to mix between the clean signal and the distortion, and the frequency controls will boost or cut up to 12db on their respective bands.

Complete with a Master dial to adjust the overall level, you've got all the tone influencing options you could need on the Alpha Omega 200.

Plenty of connectivity options

Whether you're playing live, practising in a hotel room, or recording at home, the Darkglass Alpha Omega 200 will accommodate. It offers up to 200W of power to give you plenty of speaker choices, and with a DI output you can easily hook up to a PA system or your DAW.

And for silent practice, Darkglass have thoughtfully included a headphone output, so you can practice wherever there's a power outlet!
