The Aviator snare drum is somewhat of a pioneer. It is the first aluminium snare that the British Drum Co. have produced, but it packs in all of the same innovation and sound quality that the company has quickly become known for. An aviator pays homage to the striking, sleek, shining look of iconic vintage aircraft – offering you a drum that looks just as good as it sounds.

This snare can be easily applied to all playing styles and musical genres. It offers a well-rounded, clean and clear sound that is versatile enough to sound brilliant no matter the scenario. This dry and controlled tone is then paired with an extremely sensitive response over a broad dynamic range. A seamless, 1.2mm solid anodised aluminium shell encases the drum, highlighted by eye-catching Palladium hardware (which also works to improve the integrity of the shell). This minimal, but gleaming look is then further enhanced by a cherry veneer insert that has been incorporated into the British Drum Co. logo.
