The original Brooklyn sound. Handcrafted in the USA. The Gretsch Brooklyn 14 x 5.5 Snare Drum is the pillar of any Gretsch Brooklyn drumkit. Now you can have it in isolation, to play fat beats wherever you please. The construction is built on a vintage premise. A 6-ply North American maple/poplar shell, 30-degree bearing edge and Gretsch 302 hoops. It's full, punchy and warm as a result. The Brooklyn snare delivers the classic Gretsch sound with its own sonic personality, no compromises.


Classic roots spawn a unique modern snare drum

The Brooklyn snare drum is designed on a vintage foundation. The classic Gretsch sound. But, it has its own unique qualities based on the long history between Brooklyn, New York and Gretsch Drums. The shell features 30-degree bearing edges for a vintage warmth and punch. The 302 hoops are double-flanged and 3mm thick, harking way back to pre-50s Gretsch, and providing an open resonance to the sound. Complete with Gretsch Silver Sealer on the inside.
