Not only does the Standard ‘50s come equipped with the excellent PAF-inspired ProBucker-2 and 3 duo, but it uses ‘50s style wiring techniques to get the full flavour of the low output pickups. Smooth, hum-free tone with an instantly recognisable warm low end and sweet sustain. The bridge ProBucker-3 is slightly overwound for extra attack and sounds great through crunchy levels of gain, while its neck counterpart takes a softer touch.

Pro tone

Bursting with tone. The Probucker 2 and Probucker 3 humbuckers will enliven your tone and produce a crisp, clear response with each note you play. They have a rich, warm voicing, which helps to bring out depth and gives them a vintage-style twang. The low-end is beefy, and the high end sparkling. With the Probucker 2 in the neck, you'll get a sublimely smooth sound which works well for chunky rhythm and fluid lead. And the Probucker 3 in the bridge offers tight definition and solid articulation, giving lead a razor sharp edge and rhythm a punchy, detailed tone.
