The Carvalho S MX is an beautiful and unconventionaly designed soprano ukulele. It features a side mounted sound hole, which directs every note directly towards you, creating a wonderful sonic experience that must be heard to be believed. Other nice features include a synthetic bone nut and sadlle, fret markers on the 5th, 7th, 10th and 12th frets, and pearl button nickel plated tuning gears. 

Carvalho Guitars was founded in 1976 with the aim of producing the finest quality stringed musical instruments, and they currently have roughly 45 luthiers at their Portuguese workshop. The company was founded by Antonio Pinto Carvalho himself, a descendant of the famous XIX Century Porto school of guitar players.
