ADAM Audio A Series Monitors - Beast Mode Unleashed!
Can you believe it’s already been 13 years since ADAM Audio released their ever popular AX Series of monitors? We’ve all had a beautiful time together but time moves on and more importantly, so does technology. The good people at ADAM have upped the ante once again, with the truly stunning A Series Studio Monitors.
Available in 5 new models, the A4V, A7V, A44H, A77H and A8H, the A Series is entirely suited for both professional or home studio environments, as well as broadcast and 3D setups. Each of the monitors boast all-new bass drivers, newly designed midrange dome drivers on the three-way models, and very slick room correction DSP with Sonarworks integration.

At the smaller end, the compact but ever powerful A4V is best suited to more diminutive studio environments, while the A7V continues the success story of ADAM's most famous monitor, the mighty A7X. With the other three brand new monitors, ADAM Audio is breaking ground in this price range: The A44H offers a low-profile alternative to the A7V while delivering similar performance characteristics. With an interesting 135 mm x 432 mm x 350 mm geometry, the horizontally oriented A44H is designed to sit in a standard rack shelf or can be mounted above or below a screen.
To the three way models! An updated and extremely advanced successor to the A77X, the true three-way A77H is a loudspeaker that capitalizes on the latest ADAM Audio technologies to deliver a luscious, spacious and enveloping sound. At the pinnacle of the A Series, the A8H is also a three-way design with a different form factor that delivers the extremely accurate and analytical sound required for critical-listening environments.

The A Series delivers highly accurate, transparent sound across the full line of monitors that can be controlled remotely and in real-time. That’s right, voicing and room adaptation options can be controlled remotely and in real time via A Control, a free-to-download software application from ADAM Audio (available for Windows and MacOS). A Control also facilitates a highly anticipated feature of the series, delivered in collaboration with calibration experts Sonarworks. Via A Control, users can upload and store SoundID Reference calibration profiles directly on the DSP of A Series monitors without the need to run the SoundID Reference application or any additional DAW plugin, which essentially nullifies CPU usage and significantly reduces latency by storing the calibration profiles directly on the loudspeakers’ DSP.

The Sonarworks collaboration has resulted in powerful software which measures the acoustics of your space and generates a unique calibration to help counteract problematic frequencies and resonances, tuning the speakers to both the room and the users ears.
