Korg NU:Tekt NTS-1 Digital Synth Kit 

A truly compact DIY digital synthesizer kit, the Korg Nu:Tekt Synthesizer is a solder-free synthesizer kit designed for users who like to get hands-on with building. The Nu:Tekt Synthesizer comes with a digital oscillator providing a range of waveforms. There is a total of four waveforms on offer including saw, triangle, square and VPM. You can even create your own waveforms for added versatility. It also features onboard effects such as digital delay, reverb and modulation. This pocket-sized DIY synth also offers an analogue-modelled multimode filter, ideal for sound design. It even features an envelope generator and arpeggiator for creating rhythms and patterns, and the mini keyboard allows you to play and demo sounds. The Nu:Tekt is also compatible with the 'Logue series oscillators and effects to take it to the next level.

Small but mighty

Despite its stature, the Nu:Tekt provides massive synthesizer capabilities. The digital oscillator is inspired by the engine found on Korg's flagship synthesizers. The Nu:Tekt features a very powerful arpeggiator which includes multiple ranges, and scale models. Each of these settings features a huge selection of controls to get stuck in with. As well as the powerful oscillator there is also a multimode filter, three LFO's, stereo effect processors, and much more.

The ribbon controller on the Nu:Tekt makes it a very easy instrument to play and combined with a simple interface and display - it's simply a joy to play. With plenty of control knobs and switches, you can explore the boundaries of sound with a unit that fits in your pocket.

Go deeper with powerful effects

There are three onboard effects that help bring your synthesizer sounds to life. There are reverbs, delays, and modulations effects which can easily blend together to create a totally unique sound. As well as the onboard effects there is also an arpeggiator with multiple patterns for you to select. Meaning the note order can be selected or even randomised. This makes it very simple to come up with unique musical ideas.
