Darkglass Microtubes X Ultra Pedal

At this stage i'm about ready to say there's bass overdrive, and then there's Darkglass Bass Overdrive. They might look the same when written down, but trust us, there is nothing that quite compares to just how good the Darkglass Overdrive sounds.

The Microtubes X Ultra greatly expands on the already immense versatility of the Microtubes X7. Featuring all the great controls that its predecessor has that allows users to select exactly what frequencies they want to compress and saturate for the low and treble respectively, but with four major additions providing an additional layer of flexibility, while maintaining the same compact footprint, making it an extremely complete tool for the modern bassist.

Rehearsing, Recording, Gigging, there is literally nothing that phases the Darkglass Microtubes X Ultra. Whatever tone you seek, you shall find.

Keeley Dark Side V2 Multi Effects Pedal

Sure, it's not brand new on the market, but for those of you that are looking for either a Fuzz pedal, or a more relic sounding Delay effect, or even some spacey Rotary Phased U-vibe Flanger - the Keeley Dark Side does it all, with the ability to stack them or blend them however you choose.

It may sound like a small feat, but the blend option over on the modulation side is super powerful. Blending the Rotary Cabinet with Flanger or classic Phasers into old legendary U-Vibes, the results are brand new. Now add some '77 Op Amp style fuzz, with it's over the top saturation and detailed filter control. Find the mid range within the 3-way toggle switch and suddenly we're entering a new dimension of sounds... Oh, and there's also an incredible Multi Tape Head Delay in there too, because you're gonna need it.

Other cool features include Expression Pedal compatibility, separate volume controls between the Fuzz & Mod/Delay sides, and a handy "ORDER" button up top, which changes the order of the 'chain of effects'. Switching between Modulating the Fuzz, or Fuzzing up the Modulation without unplugging a cable!

But convenience is one thing, it's all about how it sounds. And as for that, well, it's made by Keeley Electronics. They don't deal in bad sound.

Enjoy!

It's an endless array of sonic spice!

I feel like you should pop in to Musicmaker and test some of these incredible pedals out for yourself. And others, so many others.
