Did you get a ukulele for Christmas and would like to dive into the spirit of festivities with your new toy immediately?  Or are you ready and poised, the festive season on the horizon, polishing your party pieces for the benefit of all?

Okay, not so much a song as a glorified hymn really but nonetheless. Possibly best used to put some overactive toddlers to sleep after they've raided the Quality Street. 

This lesson is quite nice as the lady gives you both simple strumming and then some fingerpicking options. Let's get those kids to sleep!

Ding Dong Merrily on High

This tune has always seemed slightly sombre, which is odd for a tune that has ding dong in the title. That said this gent manages a very jaunty version indeed, because that's what the festive season is all about.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Which as a title, just sounds a little ominous. But maybe that's me? Anyway, here's a nicely detailed lesson from a Dutch lady who kinda looks like she's being held captive in a basement.

A slightly left-field entry into this list but that's what we like! Your family will be baffled at the beginning and then delighted when they recognise the lyrics! This man has the faraway gaze of someone who has maybe seen too much in life, but his singing voice is quite soothing

Last Christmas by WHAM!

It's just a quality tune eh? It's nostalgic, it's festive. What more do you need. This lady provides a super simple chord pattern so learn those lyrics and get out there.

I mean, I had to, didn't I? We are an Irish music store and this tune will likely be heard in all of our homes, repeatedly, over the Christmas season. And what a tune it is.

Now, the gentleman in this video is either unable or unwilling to sing, but otherwise the lesson is decent.
