Effects Easily Enhance Everyone's Everyday Experience

It's a well known fact.

We're back with more mystery from The Master!

If you haven't already seen it, our Duke of Delay and Grand Wizard of Fuzz provided a very in depth rundown of some of the finest pedals released in 2023. Check that out Here!!

But, like any soul with a fervent burning passion, there's always more.

So please maestro, show us some more.

The Pedals

Electro Harmonix Andy Summers Walking on the Moon Analog Flanger

Celebrating the classic, shimmering flanger sounds of Andy Summers, the EHX Walking on the Moon is a tribute to the tones Andy employed while carving his niche in the early days of playing with the Police. Liquid flange effects that hint toward chorus with extra depth and nuance make Andy’s sound one of the most coveted in all of the guitar universe.

The Andy Summers Walking on the Moon is an analog flanger with a simple but powerful control set of RATE, RANGE, and COLOR. RATE sets the speed of modulation which ranges from slow, smooth filter sweeps to jittering vibrato. RANGE controls how narrow or wide the effect sweeps into the bass frequency range. The COLOR control effects the intensity of the flanger effect from subtle chorusing effects to classic jet woosh sounds. These three controls interact to create a wide breath of modulation effects.

Additionally, the Walking on the Moon includes a FILTER MATRIX which disengages the LFO from the flanger circuit, freezing the flanger giving a fixed filter effect, which can add chime or metallic overtones to your sound without the movement of a traditional modulation pedal. A DRY output allows you to split your dry signal from the effected signal.

We go through all the settings/sounds in as little time as possible without and waffle. Sit back and enjoy.

Up Next.........

MXR Duke of Overdrive Pedal

Designed in conjunction with indie pedal builder Analog Man, the MXR Duke of Tone Overdrive is for players who want to add a touch of warmth and grit to their rig while allowing the natural tone and feel of their high-end gear to shine.

Based on the Prince of Tone Overdrive, the single-channel version of the King of Tone Overdrive, this pedal is a vintage connoisseur’s dream come true. Analog Mike personally tested and matched all of the various thru-hole components to the King of Tone Overdrive, ensuring that sweet sonic seasoning stays in the line of succession: a warm-yet-clear-and-open sound that allows all of the nuances of your signal chain to come through, from your individual guitar strings to the dynamics of your amp’s tubes.

Specifically designed for those of you who are on the 5 year waiting list for the highly sought-after Analog Man KING OF TONE (or for those of you who don't want to deal with a waiting list at all!) We run through the pedal's settings with no talking, and hope you enjoy.

And Finally......

Electro Harmonix Pico Deep Freeze Sound Retainer Pedal

Some of the more unusual pedals that Electro Harmonix have brought out in the past 10 years has to be the likes of the infinite sustaining Freeze Pedal, and the powerful glissando-bending SuperEgo, both capable of freezing a snapshot of your sound, and playing it back foreverrrrrrrrrr (or at least until you deactivated it)

Electro Harmonix’s Pico Deep Freeze Mini Pedal is the combination of the original Freeze and Superego pedals in one compact chassis. The Pico Deep Freeze can act as a sustain pedal to hold chords and notes behind you playing to manipulate your tone and create a whole new sound that has previously been impossible to do with your guitar alone. Not only does the Deep Freeze Mini feature all the same abilities as the original, but it also allows you to layer, adjust attack/decay speeds, glissando, and has 3 selectable modes: Latch, Moment, and Auto. For a small pedal, it really packs a punch.

And yeah, we demo'd it with a guitar, it's probable true intention, but just think of the potential, you can freeze anything! (i originally bought the Freeze pedal to infinitely sustain a snare, for example) This is truly one of those pedals that only gets better the more you broaden your imagination. Enjoy! Take some vitamins, or something

The journey is endless and magnificent!!!!
