There's Science. I Promise. Very Rigorous Science.

But instead of looking at the science, let's look at this. Or these.

Because we all know this is considerably more enjoyable. Science is very important but let us not forget that...........

Pardon.

We're getting sidetracked again.

There's an actual reason we are here. Our regular sojourn into the modulation of the mind via the medium of finely formulated frequencies.

Show us the reasons my friend.

MXR M288 Bass Octave Deluxe

It's one of our favourites, so why not do a wee re-up of the MXR Bass Octave Deluxe?!

The MXR M288 Bass Octave Deluxe is a dual-voice octave pedal using MXR's 18-volt Constant Headroom Technology (CHT) to provide studio-performance headroom and superior tracking. Use the Dry knob to mix your direct bass signal with the octave effect, or hit the Mid+ switch to add up to +14dB of internally adjustable low-mid punch (400Hz) or midrange pop (850Hz). Bass players love the 2 separately processed and individually voiced octave controls”Growl (for throaty, midrange octave-below tone) and Girth (for deep and smooth octave below). The Bass Octave Deluxe boasts a durable, lightweight aluminium casting and has the same high-quality jacks and switches that make MXR pedals the road-ready standard on pedal-boards around the world. And Finally.....

Mooer Green Mile Overdrive Micro Compact Pedal

MOOER is a pretty new company in the pedal world known for making their pedals tiny in comparison to other brands like BOSS, for example. The size of the pedal does not impact the tone at all, they actually sound fantastic.

This MOOER Green Mile pedal is based on a TS9 with a “hot switch” option for more gain and more thick mid frequencies, which is perfect for single coil pickups. They are well built, well packaged and you’re able to fit more Mooer pedals on regular size board than with stock sized pedals which may make it easier to downsize your pedalboard from epic proportions to something you can actually carry with one hand.

Mooer also make a selection of pedal cases – much like the Pedaltrain gear, but with a smaller, more compact design than Pedaltrain. MOOER have hit a home run on numerous pedals and for their price, there’s no real reason to go spend more than you have to, to get the TS9 tone.

We run through all it has to offer with no timewasting chit chat, so kick back and enjoy! Shop HERE.
