Donner Guitar Pedals Are Coming to Musicmaker
Big Sounds. Tiny Pedals. Ridiculously Good Fun.

There are few rabbit holes in the guitar world quite as addictive as effects pedals.
It usually starts innocently enough.
One overdrive. One delay.
Maybe a chorus.
Before long you're rearranging pedalboards at midnight, arguing with friends about analogue versus digital delay, discovering why fuzz pedals react differently to your guitar's volume knob, and convincing yourself that one more pedal will finally complete your sound.
That's the joy of guitar pedals. They're endlessly inspiring.
And that's exactly why we're so excited to announce that a huge range of Donner guitar pedals will soon be arriving at Musicmaker.
From rich analogue overdrives and warm vintage delays to lush chorus, soaring fuzz, compression, tremolo, octave effects and looping stations, Donner has quietly built one of the most impressive collections of compact guitar effects pedals anywhere on the market.
The best part?
They've done it while keeping them remarkably affordable.
Who Are Donner?
If you've spent any time watching guitar YouTube, browsing pedalboards on Reddit or chatting to players looking for great value gear, you've almost certainly come across Donner.
Founded in 2012, the company has earned a loyal following by doing something refreshingly simple.
Build genuinely musical gear. Keep it affordable. Make it reliable.
Instead of chasing boutique price tags, Donner focused on giving players access to classic effects that simply sound good. Over the years their compact aluminium stompboxes have appeared everywhere—from bedroom studios and rehearsal rooms to gigging musicians looking for dependable pedals that don't cost a fortune.
Some have even become cult favourites.
The Yellow Fall Delay, for example, has developed an almost legendary reputation as one of the best-value analogue-style delay pedals on the market, praised by countless players for its warm echoes, straightforward controls and inspiring sound.
Donner has also collaborated with Jack White's Third Man Hardware, proving that the company isn't just making budget pedals—they're making pedals respected by serious musicians.

Why We Love Compact Pedals
There's something wonderfully honest about a mini pedal.
No menus. No endless scrolling. No software updates.
Just... Plug in. Step on. Play.
Their compact footprint means you can squeeze more sounds onto a pedalboard without carrying half a music shop around with you, making them ideal for everyone from first-time pedal buyers to seasoned gigging musicians looking to maximise every inch of space.
Sometimes the smallest boxes create the biggest sounds.
A Pedal for Every Player
One of the reasons Donner has become so popular is the sheer variety of effects on offer.
Love blues? There's an overdrive for that.
Need soaring rock distortion? Covered.
Looking for shimmering chorus, atmospheric delay or vintage tremolo? You're in luck.
Want to build an entire pedalboard without remortgaging the house?
Now we're talking.
The incoming collection covers just about every cornerstone effect a guitarist could want.
Donner Triple Threat
Three Classic Effects. One Seriously Clever Pedal.
If there's one pedal that's generating real excitement, it's this.
The Donner Triple Threat is the result of a collaboration with Jack White's Third Man Hardware, combining distortion, phaser and analogue-style echo into one beautifully designed compact pedal. Jack White wanted an affordable, inspiring pedal that beginners could actually own—and Donner delivered.
The distortion is thick and expressive. The phaser ranges from subtle movement to full-on vintage swirl. The echo is based on Donner's famous Yellow Fall delay circuit, producing warm, analogue-inspired repeats that have become something of a cult favourite.
Three classic sounds. One footprint.
An enormous amount of fun.

Overdrives & Distortion
Find Your Voice
Every guitarist deserves at least one great drive pedal.
Actually... Probably more.
The incoming range includes the Dumbal Drive, Blues Drive, Giant Metal and the wonderfully named Dark Mouse, each covering a different corner of the gain spectrum.
Need smooth, amp-like overdrive inspired by legendary boutique circuits? The Dumbal Drive has you covered.
Love blues and classic rock? The Blues Drive delivers the kind of responsive breakup that encourages you to dig into every note.
Need something heavier? The Giant Metal lives up to its name with saturated distortion built for modern riffing.
The Dark Mouse takes inspiration from one of the most iconic distortion circuits ever made, delivering everything from articulate crunch to rich singing sustain.
Different flavours. Same mission.
Helping you find your sound.
Delay & Reverb
The Sound of Space
Ask most guitarists which pedal they couldn't live without after overdrive...
Delay usually tops the list.
The Yellow Fall Delay has become one of Donner's signature pedals thanks to its warm analogue-inspired repeats and beautifully simple operation. It's the kind of pedal that makes you play more slowly, listen more carefully and leave just a little more space between the notes.
Joining it is the brand-new Yellow Fall II, a major evolution of the original that combines three delay modes, three reverb modes, stereo operation, presets and tap tempo into one remarkably compact enclosure.
Vintage echoes. Digital clarity. Lush ambient textures.
It's a serious step forward.

Compression, Chorus & Tremolo
The Secret Weapons
Some pedals shout. Others quietly make everything better.
The LAX COMP helps smooth dynamics, increase sustain and bring clean tones to life.
The Tutti Love Chorus adds shimmering width and movement, perfect for everything from '80s pop to dreamy indie textures.
The Golden Tremolo delivers the pulsing movement that has been a cornerstone of electric guitar since the golden age of American amplifiers.
These aren't always the first pedals people buy.
They're often the ones that never leave the board.
Fuzz, Octave & Beyond
Feeling adventurous?
The Stylish Fuzz serves up gloriously unruly vintage-style fuzz tones.
The Harmonic Square explores octave-up, octave-down and harmony effects, opening the door to everything from Hendrix-inspired solos to organ-like textures and experimental soundscapes.
They're the pedals that encourage happy accidents.
And happy accidents often become songs.
Build the Board
Donner hasn't forgotten the practical essentials either.
The incoming range also includes the DT-1 Tuner, the ABY Box Switcher, the hugely useful Circle Looper and Triple Looper, making it easier than ever to build a complete, gig-ready pedalboard. Because sometimes the most important pedal isn't the loudest one.
It's the one quietly keeping everything else working.
Great Tone Doesn't Have to Cost a Fortune
One of the biggest myths in the guitar world is that incredible tone has to come with an incredible price tag.
It doesn't.
Donner has spent the last decade proving that thoughtful engineering, reliable construction and genuinely inspiring sounds can be accessible to everyone.
That's good news for beginners buying their very first pedal. It's equally good news for experienced players looking to experiment without spending boutique money every time curiosity strikes.
After all...
Some of the best riffs in history probably started with someone plugging into a pedal simply because it looked interesting.
