Enough of the silliness, this is about Roland, but more specifically, Roland's brilliant, easy-to-use, 61 key portable keyboard. As a company they have an undeniable tendency to make high quality instruments that are extremely user friendly, but they really have done a beautiful thing with the GO:KEYS. With 500 tones to choose from, pianos, organs, strings and other lovely things, you have a massive bank of fun sounds with which to write, practice and create music. On top of that, with their Bluetooth connectivity you can hook your phone up for online lessons or tutorials, or simply to jam along to your favourite tunes.
The Loop Mix function is even more useful, allowing you to set up a beat from a bank of classic Roland drum sounds and then mix various melodic elements over the top, working out ideas in a really simple and fun way. Couple this with the fact that it has onboard speakers and the potential to be battery powered and you could be making music anywhere, right now.
