Adorned with some downright fetchin' custom artwork, the Lace Cigar Box Guitar dons a fresh sound, tailor-made for easy playin', ready to dish out Rock, Alternative, Country, Blues, or Jazz on either them three or four strings.

Now, here's the real kicker: the Matchbook™ pickup, a standard feature on all them 3 and 4 string models, is a genuine USA creation, the first-ever patented pickup made especially for the Cigar Box Guitar, using Lace’s™ Alumitone® "Current Driven" design. It's shaped like a real matchbook, with one magnet playin' the part of the "striker." This ingenious pickup, with its zero noise-floor, double coil power, and single coil clarity, lets you dial in tones from mean to clean, controlled by a push-pull volume pot.

Built tough from pressboard and mahogany veneer, coated in a satin gloss finish with chromed metal corners, these lightweight wonders are crafted to go the distance. The one-piece hard rock maple neck, the double adjustable truss rod, and the 20-fret maple fingerboard make for playin' that's downright exceptional.

The bridge, sportin' a steel plate design with a good 20mm of tweakin' room, guarantees that each string's singin' just right. The open gear machine heads, remindin' you of the good ol' vintage instruments, come with a 14:1 gear ratio.
