Think of it as having two distinct distortion pedals living inside a single enclosure, each with its own personality, controls and footswitch. One side delivers articulate, cutting gain that sings through solos and classic rock riffs, while the other brings thicker, heavier saturation with real authority. The clever bit is how Fender lets you combine them. Run the circuits independently, stack them in series for cascading gain, or blend them in parallel to build your own signature distortion voice.
