When Leo Fender introduced the Broadcaster—soon renamed the Telecaster—in 1950, he revolutionised the guitar forever. Simple, reliable and brilliantly practical, it became the world's first commercially successful solid-body electric guitar.
It wouldn't be long before other classics followed.
The Stratocaster arrived in 1954.
The Jazzmaster followed in 1958.
Then came the Jaguar in 1962, completing what would become Fender's iconic family of offset guitars.
