Small desk, serious sound. The PreSonus Eris 3.5BT Bluetooth Studio Monitors – Black are a cracking pair of compact powered monitors for home recording, music production, content creation, gaming and everyday listening, giving you proper studio-inspired sound without demanding half the room.

Each speaker combines a 3.5" woven-composite low-frequency driver with a 1" ultra-low-mass silk-dome tweeter, producing a smooth, balanced response that's designed to let you hear what's actually happening in your music rather than covering everything in enormous, artificially hyped bass. With a frequency response of 80Hz–20kHz, they're particularly well suited to desktop and nearfield listening.

There's 50 watts of Class AB amplification – 25 watts per side – on tap, with up to 98dB peak SPL at one metre. That's plenty of grunt for a bedroom studio, editing suite or desktop setup while remaining sensible enough for spaces where enormous monitors would be complete overkill.

And the BT bit is genuinely useful. Bluetooth 5.0 lets you quickly stream music from your phone, tablet or computer without reaching for another cable. When it's time to get serious, you've also got balanced ¼" TRS inputs, RCA connections and a stereo ⅛" Aux input, making the Eris 3.5BT easy to integrate with audio interfaces, mixers and consumer audio gear.

PreSonus also gives you High and Low Acoustic Tuning controls, each offering ±6dB of adjustment. That's particularly handy when you're working in a less-than-perfect bedroom or home studio and need to compensate for where the speakers are sitting. There's also a front-mounted volume control and headphone output, with plugging in headphones automatically muting the speakers.
