The Pedals

Boss SDE-3000D Dual Digital Delay Pedal:  Okay, so be honest. How many of you remember the old ROLAND Rackmounted SDE-3000 Digital Delay unit? I do, and I'm in me forties!! I used to drool over these things in the old studios i used, wondering how much it costs, how exactly the magic within works, and how much i'd have to spend if i spilled me Cadet Red Lemonade all over it...

Folks, it's BACK! And it's been souped up to JAYSUS too. Now in a more pedalboard friendly format, Boss bring you the SDE-3000D - which takes all the former glory of the previously rackmounted unit, then doubles it, giving you a range of modern features the original never had:

Stereo Ins/Outs; MIDI capabilities; Onboard Tap Tempo; Up to 100 Save Slots; plus a rake of output modes never seen before. However, the one thing that remains unchanged is that unmistakable digital-rackmounted 80's tone. This thing fundamentally sounds absolutely delicious. Take a seat, have a listen and Enjoy!

JHS Pedals 3 Series Screamer Overdrive Pedal:   This week brings another of JHS's 3 Series Pedal range - The Screamer.

Yep, you guessed it, based on iconic Tube Screamers such as the Ibanez TS9, but at a fraction of the cost. That's because the 3 Series pedal range focuses on bringing 3 major must-haves for must-have pedals: Quality, Simplicity and Affordability. Built for beginners or pro's alike. And we have yet to demo one that hasn't impressed us!

This one is kinda special though. JHS have never released a lone Tube Screamer before, instead opting to put a Tube Screamer Circuit in the Double Barrel Pedal, stacked with a Morning Glory. This is the first time they've released an official "Screamer", on it's own, and it sounds. so good. it's crazy.

We ran through all the settings for your viewing and listening pleasure. Enjoy!

Darkglass Vintage Ultra V2 Aux Bass Preamp Pedal:  Okay okay, we've been leaving bass players alone and bass pedals out of the mix for long enough now, it's time to start covering BASS PEDALS!

And what a first up have we - the Darkglass Electronics VINTAGE ULTRA.

Is it an EQ pedal? - It is.

Is it an overdrive pedal? - It is too.

Is it a D.I. Box? - Yep

Is it capable of recording directly? - You bet your granny it is!

The Darkglass Vintage Ultra V2 bass preamp pedal delivers even more sonic options for live and studio applications. In response to player requests, this edition features a separate switch for the overdrive section, allowing you to toggle it without altering your other settings. Each mid control now features a 3-way toggle switch for a total of six different mid-emphasis settings. There's a Master volume control to manage your overall signal better, plus a dedicated headphone output, aux in, and balanced audio out for flexible connectivity. Complete with a switchable impulse-response cabinet emulation for lifelike direct tone, the Darkglass Vintage Ultra V2 bass preamp pedal is a one-stop shop for great bass tone.

We go through all the settings and sounds we possibly could in 5 minutes. Enjoy that there now you!
