When you position studio monitor speakers directly on a solid surface like a desk or an unpadded stand, you may encounter issues with vibrations and sound distortion caused by the coupling of the speaker with the surface. To address this problem, PreSonus® offers ISPD-4 isolation pads, which effectively isolate your speakers acoustically from the surface they sit on.

These isolation pads are supplied in pairs, and each pair can be divided into four separate halves. This modular design allows you to use the entire pad for larger speakers, utilise half a pad for smaller speakers, or separate the two halves and employ both to provide extra width support. For instance, you can use both halves when positioning a speaker horizontally.
