Sitka provides crisp articulation and dynamic headroom, while the African mahogany back and sides add warmth and a woody midrange character that suits blues beautifully. The result is that tight, slightly compressed bark when you dig in — balanced with openness and projection thanks to Alvarez’s FS6 forward-shifted bracing.
