Iberica TG100 Tenor Guitar - Spruce/Sapelli
Made in Portugal
Each instrument has an individual design so that no two are identical.
(Due to the aleatoric nature of the natural wood changes in wood shape and tone color may occur)
Ibérica was founded in 1976 by António Pinto Carvalho, who descended from a century-old school of luthiers in Porto. The company has about 45 artisans who build several types of traditional Portuguese instruments and chordophones of other origins. Ibérica is the largest national company in this field, producing and selling instruments to more than twenty countries. All instruments are manufactured in Portugal and sold worldwide.
The company invests in the highest technology, seeking the greatest possible rigor and precision in the construction of chordophones. Instrumental however, is the touch of each “luthier” on each instrument, making each piece a work of unique beauty and sound. The symbiosis between the craftsmanship brought from the 19th century and the technology of today is, undoubtedly, the key to the quality and authenticity of each instrument.
