Lag Guitars Tramontane 118 Dreadnought (Left-Handed)
Warm, expressive cedar tone — built for left-handed players
The Lâg Tramontane T118 Dreadnought (Left-Handed) delivers the rich, balanced voice of the 118 series in a format designed specifically for left-handed musicians. With premium tonewoods, refined craftsmanship and classic dreadnought power, this is a guitar that offers warmth, projection and reliability in equal measure.
At its heart is a solid red cedar top, prized for its smooth, mellow character and immediate responsiveness. Cedar brings a warm, harmonically rich tone with impressive depth and balance, making it especially rewarding for expressive strumming and dynamic accompaniment. It responds beautifully to a lighter touch while still holding up under confident playing.
The khaya back and sides provide stability and tonal clarity, complementing the cedar’s warmth with defined mids and a controlled low-end response. In the classic dreadnought body format, this combination produces strong projection, full bass presence and excellent headroom — ideal for singer-songwriters, ensemble playing and players who want a powerful acoustic voice.
Visually, the Natural gloss finish enhances the cedar’s grain and gives the guitar a refined, timeless aesthetic. The fingerboard, bridge and headstock are crafted from Brown BrankoWood, offering durability and smooth playability while maintaining the Tramontane’s elegant style.
The khaya neck is shaped for comfort and balance, paired with a 43 mm compensated black graphite nut and double-action truss rod for dependable setup and tuning stability. With a 650 mm scale length, 20 medium silver nickel frets and a 350 mm fingerboard radius, it offers a familiar feel that suits a wide range of playing styles.
Fitted with oil bath machine heads with a precise 1:18 ratio and strung with coated phosphor bronze light strings (12–52), the T118 is ready to perform straight out of the case.
Left-handed players often have fewer premium options available — which makes this model especially welcome. It’s exactly the kind of expressive, well-built acoustic that stands out on the wall at Musicmaker: warm, balanced and built to inspire.
