The Lâg Guitars Tramontane 70 Dreadnought Cutaway Electro – Black & Brown (T70DCE-B&B) takes that familiar big-bodied acoustic experience and gives it a distinctly Lâg twist, combining a solid Sitka Spruce top, stage-ready electronics and a gorgeous Black & Brown satin finish in a guitar that offers a serious amount of instrument for the money.

The Dreadnought body is all about presence. Compared with the Auditorium version, there's more physical body behind the strings, producing the kind of robust projection and low-end authority that works beautifully for strumming, flatpicking and accompanying vocals. Whether you're hammering through big rock chords or backing things off for a quieter verse, the T70DCE-B&B has the range to follow you.

A solid Sitka Spruce top sits at the heart of the guitar, paired with Khaya back and sides and traditional X-bracing. Sitka Spruce is a superb all-round soundboard material, offering clarity, dynamic range and enough headroom to cope with an enthusiastic right hand. The Khaya body adds warmth and body underneath, giving the T70DCE-B&B a balanced voice that's equally comfortable with a pick or fingers.

Then there's that finish. The Black & Brown satin burst gives the T70DCE-B&B a much moodier personality than your average natural dreadnought, while Lâg's distinctive bridge and headstock design ensure there's no mistaking it for just another acoustic. Black hardware completes the look without tipping things into unnecessary flashiness.

The cutaway isn't merely there for appearances either. It provides much easier access to the upper register, giving lead players and more adventurous chordsmiths room to explore beyond the usual open positions. An Okoumé neck and Brown BrankoWood fingerboard provide a comfortable playing surface, with a 650mm scale length, 43mm nut width and 350mm radius keeping the feel contemporary and familiar.

When it's time to plug in, the onboard DirectLâg GT2 system keeps things refreshingly practical. You get Volume and three-band EQ, allowing you to tailor the amplified sound to your PA, acoustic amp or venue, alongside a Phase control that can prove invaluable when feedback starts creeping into the equation.
