Moose Electronics Brass Neck Overdrive Pedal

The goal behind the creation of the Brass Neck was to design a pedal that delivers a drive with a flat, expansive frequency response, along with just the right touch of natural compression. With ample volume available, it's capable of driving the front end of your preferred amplifier effortlessly. Built around two low-noise Opamps and two pairs of Germanium diodes, this pedal offers a versatile tone palette across its controls. Adjusting the treble and bass knobs allows for a wide range of tones, all while maintaining a gentle valve-like compression courtesy of the Germanium diodes, preserving frequencies without introducing any midrange humps common in other overdrive pedals. The focus here is on achieving the perfect balance: compression without compromising frequencies, gain without sacrificing clarity, and midrange emphasis without any unwanted honk. Whether used as an always-on effect or for adding just the right amount of punch during solos or choruses, the Brass Neck delivers. Additionally, its powerful EQ capabilities make it suitable for everything from gritty treble boosts to bass boosts or signal darkening. All pedals come equipped with true bypass as standard and are powered by a standard 9V DC power supply with negative tip (Boss style). For optimal performance, it's recommended to use a reputable regulated pedal power supply.
