Alvarez AD30CE Artist Series Solid Top Dreadnought
Alvarez AD30CE Artist Series Solid Top Dreadnought
Classic dreadnought tone with stage-ready versatility The Alvarez AD30CE Artist Series takes everything players love about the AD30 and adds modern performance flexibility with a smooth cutaway and onboard electronics. It’s a reliable, great-sounding dreadnought built for players who want solid-top tone and the option to plug in when the moment calls for it.
At the heart of the AD30CE is a solid spruce top, delivering clarity, dynamic range and excellent projection. Paired with mahogany back and sides, the tone is warm and balanced, with clear bass response, focused mids and bright, articulate trebles. It’s a classic acoustic recipe that suits strumming, singer-songwriter work and general all-round playing.
The dreadnought body provides strong natural volume and headroom, making it ideal for rehearsals, unplugged sessions and rhythm-driven styles. The addition of the cutaway gives you easy access to the upper frets, opening the door to lead playing and higher-register expression without feeling restricted. Playability is smooth and comfortable, with a mahogany neck that feels approachable in the hand. Chord transitions are easy, and the guitar responds well to both light touch and heavier attack. For live performance, the AD30CE comes equipped with an onboard pickup and EQ/Tuner, allowing you to amplify your sound with clarity and control and stay in tune. Whether you’re playing a small venue, church setting or open mic night, it gives you dependable plug-and-play functionality.
Finished in a clean Natural gloss, the AD30CE keeps things classic and understated — a proper working acoustic that focuses on tone and practicality.
It’s the kind of guitar that regularly earns nods of approval in Musicmaker — solid top tone, cutaway comfort and reliable electronics at a sensible price point.
