Avalon Guitars - Premier Series D310 Amazaque/Spruce

Avalon Guitars - Premier Series D310 Amazaque/Spruce

The Avalon Premier Series D310 Amazaque/Spruce is the kind of guitar that immediately reminds you why handcrafted acoustic instruments will always matter. Built in Northern Ireland by a team of dedicated luthiers rather than a production line, this is an instrument shaped by instinct, experience, and an uncompromising obsession with tone. Every Avalon guitar carries that philosophy in its bones — crafted slowly, voiced individually, and built to become part of a player’s story for decades to come.

From the very first chord, the D310 delivers the unmistakable Avalon voice: deep, articulate, responsive, and beautifully balanced across the frequency range. The combination of a solid Sitka Spruce top and stunning Amazaque back and sides gives this guitar incredible dynamic range and tonal complexity. There’s clarity and sparkle in the highs, rich piano-like lows, and a focused midrange that allows fingerstyle passages and heavy strumming alike to breathe effortlessly.

Visually, it’s an absolute stunner. The dramatic figuring of the Amazaque is paired perfectly with elegant rosewood bindings, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, and a breathtaking solid Paua Abalone rosette that catches the light beautifully without ever feeling overdone. Subtle luxury runs through every detail, right down to the Mother of Pearl Avalon logo and the silky-smooth Gotoh SG381 machine heads.

The Brazilian Mahogany neck feels immediately comfortable and refined in the hands, offering a smooth, natural playing experience whether you’re spending hours writing, recording, rehearsing, or performing live. Fitted with natural bone nut and saddle components, the guitar resonates freely with outstanding sustain and note separation.

Plugged in, the LR Baggs Element pickup system captures the natural acoustic character of the instrument with warmth, clarity, and impressive realism. Whether on stage, in the studio, or through a high-quality acoustic amp setup, the D310 retains its organic voice beautifully.

Supplied in a deluxe TKL hard shell case and strung with D’Addario XS .12-.53 strings, this is a professional-level acoustic guitar in every sense — handcrafted with care, built without compromise, and designed to inspire every time it’s picked up.

At Musicmaker, instruments like the Avalon Premier Series remind us why truly great acoustic guitars are never just tools. They become companions. Writing partners. Lifetime instruments.
