Boss AC-3 Acoustic Simulator Pedal
Boss AC-3 Acoustic Simulator Pedal
BOSS is excited to present another addition to the "Authentic BOSS" Compact Pedal lineup: the AC-3. How often have you found yourself on stage or in the studio with your electric guitar, longing for the presence of an acoustic counterpart? For musicians who prioritise traveling light, the idea of bringing an additional guitar to a performance may not be the most appealing choice. Fear not, as the BOSS AC-3 comes to the rescue! This state-of-the-art compact pedal utilises COSM modelling technology to metamorphose any electric guitar into a diverse array of splendid acoustic guitar tones.
The prowess of BOSS's COSM Acoustic-Modelling technology takes centre stage in this compact yet potent pedal, offering a level of precision and realism in simulating acoustic guitars that surpasses previous technologies. Borrowing from the advanced AD-8, the AC-3 impeccably replicates the nuanced sound of an acoustic guitar.
The AC-3 offers four simulation modes: Standard, Jumbo, Enhanced, and Piezo-equipped. The Piezo-equipped mode, in particular, delivers the renowned direct piezo sound, ideal for those moments when you need your guitar to cut through the mix. While past compact acoustic-guitar modelling pedals showed promise, the AC-3 elevates the standard.
Tailor the characteristics of the four acoustic models effortlessly with the provided Top and Body controls. Achieve the perfect acoustic-guitar sound swiftly with simple knob adjustments, or enhance the sonic landscape with the AC-3's integrated digital reverb. Essentially, it's like having two pedals in one.
Experience added depth and richness in your sound with the AC-3's built-in digital reverb. This feature not only simplifies your setup but also provides an extra layer of versatility, essentially offering the functionality of two pedals in a single unit.
