Donner Versa Yellow Fall II Delay & Reverb Pedal
If you’re chasing ambient washes, tight slap delays or old‑school echoes that sit just right in a mix, the Donner Versa Yellow Fall II gives you that sweet spot between lush reverb and rhythmic delay — in a compact stompbox you’ll actually use. It’s what happens when you say, “Give me depth, but don’t kill my clarity.”
This little box is built for versatility. Want cascading repeats? You’ve got them. Fancy dreamy space? The reverb side brings that in spades. And the combo mode lets you blend both at once — ideal for ambient textures, ambient leads, pads with tails, or just colouring your tone without burying it.
You control the delay time, feedback, and mix to carve echoes that feel alive, not mechanical. The reverb side delivers hall, plate or shimmer‑style tails, and you can tweak decay, tone, and level to shape the reverb envelope. The pedal lets you dial in how much of your original dry signal remains in front, so your core tone stays audible even in the deepest ambience.
Performance matters, so it includes tap tempo (or tempo sync) for locking your delay to the song’s pace, plus a presets / memory switch so you can save your go‑to ambient or slap settings. True bypass or buffer mode helps preserve your signal integrity when the pedal is off — no tone loss, no dulling your mids when you step out.
Physically, it’s built for boards: robust metal enclosure, footswitches with LED feedback, and compact design so it doesn’t hog space. The labels are clear, the layout logical, and the UI intuitive — you won’t need to squint at tiny knobs or menu dive mid‑gig.
The Donner Versa Yellow Fall II is perfect for guitarists, keyboard players, ambient pad users, or anyone wanting to add shimmering space and rhythmic repeats to their sound. Use it in post-rock, shoegaze, indie, ambient, slow parts, intros — this pedal’s one of those “texture tools” you’ll come back to when you want your sound to feel as good as it looks.
