ProMark C-RODS Cool Rods

ProMark C-RODS Cool Rods

Lower volume, controlled feel and smooth response

The ProMark C-RODS Cool Rods are a brilliant solution for drummers who need to dial back the volume without sacrificing control or groove. Designed to sit between Hot Rods and brushes, Cool Rods offer a softer attack and quieter response while still retaining a natural, stick-like feel.

Made from bundled birch dowels, C-RODS deliver a warm, focused sound with reduced volume and less rebound than standard sticks. They’re ideal for acoustic gigs, rehearsals, worship settings, theatre pits and any situation where full sticks would be overpowering but brushes feel too subtle. On cymbals, they produce a smooth, controlled wash, while on drums they keep articulation intact without excessive bite.

Comfortable in the hand and easy to control, ProMark Cool Rods let you play musically and dynamically at lower volumes — not just hold back. They’re a staple in many stick bags and a smart choice for drummers who want flexibility across different playing environments. A quiet essential, and one we’re always happy to recommend here at Musicmaker.
