Promark Hickory Matt Halpern Wood Tip
The ProMark Hickory Matt Halpern Wood Tip Drumsticks are built for precision, power, and serious control — exactly what you’d expect from one of modern metal’s most technical and dynamic players.
Designed in collaboration with Matt Halpern (Periphery), these sticks are tailored for drummers who need speed, articulation, and consistency, especially in more demanding styles. They feature a slightly longer length and refined taper, giving you extra reach and a responsive feel that makes fast, intricate playing feel more natural. Crafted from hickory, they deliver that trusted balance of durability, shock absorption, and resilience, holding up well under heavy playing without feeling overly stiff.
The wood tip provides a warm, controlled cymbal tone, offering a bit more body and less harshness compared to nylon — ideal for keeping things musical, even in high-energy settings. One of the standout touches is the matte grip finish, which gives you a secure, slip-resistant feel without being overly tacky. It’s perfect for long sessions or sweaty gigs where control matters.
These sticks are right at home in progressive rock, metal, and technical playing styles, but they’re versatile enough for any drummer who wants a balanced stick with added precision and grip.
