Evans Power Center Reverse Dot Drum Head - 14"

Evans Power Center Reverse Dot Drum Head - 14"

The Evans Power Center Reverse Dot Drum Head – 14" is a proper workhorse snare head — built for players who want focused attack, added durability, and a controlled, punchy tone without losing responsiveness.

At its core, this is a single-ply coated head, which keeps things open, dynamic, and sensitive under the stick. But Evans have added their clever twist: a reverse dot reinforcement patch on the underside. This strengthens the centre of the head — right where you hit most — without interfering with the feel or brush response on the surface.

The result is a snare head that gives you extra durability and a tighter, more focused attack, while still allowing for ghost notes, subtle dynamics, and expressive playing. You get that satisfying crack when you lay into it, but it still breathes when you back off. The coated finish adds warmth and a slightly softer attack, making it a great all-rounder for everything from rock and pop to funk and more nuanced playing styles. It also plays nicely with brushes, which is a big plus for more versatile setups.

This is the kind of head that sits right in the sweet spot — strong enough for heavier hitters, but responsive enough for detail work.
