Vater Classics 5A Nylon Tip

5A with an acorn tip for a nice and full sound from drums and cymbals. Solid and responsive model that practically plays itself. Oval nylon tip for full and bright sound.

The iconic profiles and dimensions of the Vater Classics Series drumsticks have been foundational models in the drumstick realm since the inception of the "trap set." Jack Adams, the grandfather of Alan and Ron Vater, even handcrafted some of these drumstick profiles at Jack’s Drum Shop in Boston during the 1950s and '60s.

Now, Vater is delving into its rich history with the introduction of the Vater Classics. These six core models are meticulously lathe-turned to match their classic specifications and profiles, reminiscent of the sticks crafted in their barn during the 1980s.

Each stick in the Classics Series undergoes subtle modifications to enhance its performance, along with an acorn tip tailored to its specific style. Whether it's the rounded acorn tip of the 2B, the compact acorn tip of the 7A, or the standard acorn tip of the 5A and 5B, these sticks produce rich tones from drums and cymbals alike. Designed for optimal responsiveness and dynamic feel, they cater to the unique needs of the drummer's hands.
