Evans G2 Coated Drum Head - 10"
Evans G2 Coated Drum Head - 10"
The Evans G2 Coated Drum Head – 10" is one of those go-to choices when you want your toms to sound full, punchy, and properly controlled without losing musicality. It’s a staple for a reason — it just works.
Built with a two-ply construction, the G2 delivers a warm, focused tone with plenty of attack, making it ideal for players who want a bit more durability and depth than a single-ply head. It holds up well under heavier playing, while still staying responsive and lively. The coated finish brings a slightly softer attack and added warmth, giving your tom a rounder, more classic sound. It also helps tame some high-end overtones, so you get a cleaner, more controlled tone straight away.
At 10", this head is perfect for rack toms, offering a tight, punchy response with clear articulation — great for cutting through a mix without sounding thin or harsh. It’s incredibly versatile too. Whether you’re playing rock, pop, funk, indie, or anything in between, the G2 sits right in that sweet spot between openness and control.
This is the kind of head that makes tuning easier and your kit sound more “finished” with minimal effort.
