Evans G2 Coated Tom Head - 20"
Evans G2 Coated Tom Head - 20"
The Evans G2 Coated Tom Head – 20" brings that familiar G2 character down into your Tom — full-bodied, punchy, and controlled, with just the right amount of warmth.
Built with a two-ply construction, this head is designed to handle a bit of power while still delivering a focused, rounded low end. Compared to single-ply options, it gives you more depth, durability, and a tighter response, making it a solid choice for players who want consistency under the foot. The coated finish softens the attack slightly, adding a warmer, more vintage-style character to your Tom sound. It takes the edge off excessive click while still keeping enough definition to cut through in a band mix.
Unlike heavily pre-dampened heads, the G2 Tom head keeps things a bit more open, giving you the freedom to shape your sound your way.
This is a great option if you want a Tom sound that’s balanced, warm, and adaptable, without being overly processed straight out of the box.
