Evans G2 Tompack, Coated, Rock (10", 12", 16")
Bold, Balanced, and Built for Heavy Hitters. If you're after that perfect blend of power, depth, and tonal control across your toms, look no further than the Evans G2 Coated Tompack in rock configuration (10", 12", 16"). Designed to give drummers the full-bodied tone and controlled attack needed for modern rock and hard-hitting styles, this pre-packed trio delivers consistent, tour-grade performance—straight out of the box.
The G2 series is renowned for its two-ply 7mil film construction, offering a rich, full tone with extra durability to handle everything from rimshots to thunderous fills. The coated finish adds a touch of warmth and subtle focus, enhancing stick articulation while reducing excessive overtones—a perfect balance for both live and studio settings.
With tom sizes tailored for rock players—10" rack, 12" rack, and 16" floor tom—this set provides punch up top, body in the middle, and thunder down low. Whether you're tuning high for attack or low for boom, these heads respond musically across the entire range.
Trusted by professionals and educators alike, Evans' Level 360 collar ensures effortless seating, faster tuning, and better head-to-shell contact—minimising fuss and maximising tone.
Here at Musicmaker, we regularly recommend the G2 Rock Tompack to gigging drummers, recording engineers, and educators alike—it’s a go-to upgrade for kits that need focused tone, longer life, and punchy projection.
