Evans Power Center Reverse Dot Drum Head - 13 "

Evans Power Center Reverse Dot Drum Head, 13"

The Evans Power Center Reverse Dot Drum Head – 13" is a seriously versatile snare or tom head that strikes that sweet spot between durability, control, and expressive feel.

At its foundation, you’ve got a single-ply coated head, which keeps the tone open, responsive, and full of life. It reacts beautifully to dynamics — from light ghost notes to solid backbeats — making it a great choice for players who want both power and nuance. The standout feature is the reverse dot reinforcement on the underside. Positioned right where you strike most, it adds extra durability and focus without affecting the natural feel of the playing surface. You get a tighter, more defined attack, while still keeping that smooth coated response on top.

Tonally, it delivers a balanced sound with controlled overtones, sitting nicely in a mix without needing loads of extra dampening. The coated finish adds a bit of warmth and softness to the attack, making it ideal for a wide range of styles. At 13", it’s perfect for snare drums or smaller toms, offering a slightly tighter, more focused voice compared to a 14", while still maintaining plenty of body.

This is the kind of head that adapts to your playing — strong when you need it, subtle when you want it.
