The Alvarez Delta00E Artist Blues Double 0 takes everything that makes the Delta00 so characterful and adds professional-grade electronics for players who want authentic roots tone both unplugged and amplified.

Part of the Alvarez Artist Blues Series, the Delta00E was designed to capture the spirit of early American blues guitars — small-bodied, responsive and full of attitude. Body shape, bracing and neck profile were all carefully considered to ensure it feels and sounds exactly right.

The compact Double 0 body gives this guitar an intimate, focused voice that’s ideal for fingerstyle playing, slide work and expressive blues phrasing. It responds quickly to touch, delivering that tight, slightly compressed “blues bark” when you dig in, while still maintaining clarity and note separation.

At the heart of the Delta00E is a solid A+ Sitka spruce top, independently graded for strength and responsiveness. Sitka provides articulation and projection, while the African mahogany back and sides add warmth and midrange presence. Alvarez’s back-shifted, scalloped bracing design keeps the tone lively and open, offering more projection and air than you might expect from a smaller-bodied guitar.

The subtle V-shaped neck profile adds to the vintage feel, making thumb-over techniques and traditional blues grips feel natural in the hand. With generous string spacing and a 14th-fret neck join, the Delta00E balances old-school vibe with comfortable, modern playability.

Visually, it’s pure Americana. The gloss Sunburst finish, grained ivoroid-style binding and classic small rectangle bridge complete the look. Indian laurel fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, and chrome open-gear tuners deliver traditional aesthetics with dependable performance.
