Pig Hog Hex Series Silent Instrument Cable, 18.6 ft - Grey

Pig Hog Hex Series Silent Instrument Cable, 18.6 ft - Grey

The Pig Hog Hex Series Silent Instrument Cable 18.6ft – Grey is designed for musicians who are tired of one particular sound: the earth-shattering pop that happens when someone forgets to mute their amp before unplugging a guitar. Thanks to its clever silent connector technology, this cable makes instrument changes smooth, professional, and blissfully noise-free, whether you're on stage, in the studio, or rehearsing at home. The standout feature is the integrated silent switch built into the connector. As soon as the cable is unplugged from your instrument, the signal is automatically muted, eliminating the pops, crackles, and unexpected blasts of noise that can interrupt performances and test the patience of bandmates, sound engineers, and audiences alike.

Part of Pig Hog's innovative Hex Series, this cable also features a patented six-sided spiral extrusion design that dramatically improves handling and durability. The unique construction helps the cable coil neatly and resist tangles, making setup and pack-down quicker and less frustrating. If you've ever spent several minutes wrestling a cable that seemed determined to tie itself into a sailor's knot, you'll appreciate the difference.

Inside, Pig Hog's premium OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper) conductor technology ensures excellent signal transfer, preserving the natural tone and dynamics of your instrument. Combined with robust shielding, it delivers clean, dependable audio with minimal interference, whether you're recording in the studio, practising at home, or performing under stage lights.

At 18.6 feet in length, it provides plenty of freedom to move around while maintaining a tidy and manageable setup. The sleek grey finish gives the cable a modern, professional appearance that looks right at home in any rig. Like every Pig Hog cable, the Hex Series Silent Cable is rigorously tested before shipping and backed by a lifetime warranty, ensuring it's ready to become a trusted part of your setup for years to come.

At Musicmaker, we're big fans of gear that solves real-world problems, and a cable that lets you swap guitars without causing a minor sonic explosion is definitely a welcome addition.
