Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor Guitar Pedal
Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor Pedal
Kill unwanted noise. Keep your tone exactly where it should be. The Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor is a pedalboard essential for players dealing with hum, hiss and feedback — especially when running high-gain amps, distortion pedals or complex signal chains. Trusted by guitarists for decades, the NS-2 delivers smooth, intelligent noise reduction without choking your sustain or flattening your dynamics.
Unlike simple noise gates, the NS-2 features Boss’s clever send/return loop, allowing you to isolate noisy pedals (like drives and fuzzes) while keeping your clean signal untouched. The result is a far more natural response, letting notes ring out properly while clamping down on unwanted noise when you stop playing. Whether you’re tightening up a metal rig, cleaning up a pedal-heavy board, or taming stage noise, it does the job effortlessly.
With intuitive Threshold and Decay controls, dialling in the perfect balance is quick and painless. Built in Boss’s legendary tank-like enclosure, the NS-2 is made to survive years of rehearsals, gigs and studio sessions. It’s one of those pedals you don’t think about once it’s on your board — which is exactly the point. A true problem-solver, and a firm favourite here at Musicmaker.
