Aquila 160u Kids Ukulele Set, GCEA

Aquila 160u Kids Ukulele Set, GCEA

Learning to play the ukulele should be fun, simple, and filled with bright, happy sounds—and that’s exactly what the Aquila 160U Kids Ukulele Set delivers. Designed especially for young beginners, this charming string set is colour-coded to make learning intuitive and engaging. With each string a different colour—green for G, red for C, yellow for E, and blue for A—children can more easily recognise notes and form chords, taking the guesswork out of early music education.

But it’s not just about looks—these strings are crafted from Aquila’s celebrated New Nylgut material, which offers the warmth and resonance of traditional gut strings, along with exceptional tuning stability and durability. Soft to the touch and easy on little fingers, they make practice sessions more comfortable and encourage longer play without fuss.

The 160U set is designed for standard GCEA tuning with a high G and works beautifully with soprano, concert, and tenor ukuleles. Whether for home learning or the classroom, this string set turns every session into a colourful, confidence-building experience.
