Jam Pedals Boomster mk.2 Clean Boost Pedal

The Boomster Mk.2 sets a new benchmark in the world of buffers and boosters, delivering unparalleled musical response and increased headroom. Designed to elevate your sound, it’s packed with hi-fi-grade Burr Brown® OPA 2132 chips, renowned for their exceptional fidelity and lush tone. Every aspect of this pedal has been meticulously crafted and rigorously tested to meet the demands of modern musicians.

Booster Function: Power and Precision in Every Note

With up to 16dB of clean, transparent boost, the Boomster Mk.2 delivers unadulterated volume and tonal clarity. Use it after your drive section for a dynamic volume lift, or place it before your amp or overdrive pedals to unlock new gain-staging possibilities.

Tailored Voicing Options:

• Top Position: Smoothly attenuates high frequencies (adjustable via internal trimmer).

• Middle Position: Delivers a balanced, full-range response for versatility.

• Bottom Position: Adds midrange emphasis (adjustable via internal trimmer).

These voicing options ensure compatibility with various instruments, amps, and pedals, making it an essential tool for shaping your tone.

Pro Tip: With the Level knob turned all the way down, the booster’s output sits at unity gain, providing precision and control.

Buffer Function: Restore and Retain Your Original Tone

The Boomster Mk.2’s buffer function is engineered to overcome the tonal degradation caused by long signal chains. Powered by the Burr Brown® OPA 2132 chip, it delivers pristine clarity without harshness, retaining the natural feel and character of your instrument.

Key Buffer Benefits:

• Restores lost frequencies with smooth, balanced top-end clarity.

• Preserves the authentic feel of your playing, ensuring a seamless connection between musician and instrument.

• Volume Pedal Functionality: Seamless Dynamic Control

Pair the Boomster Mk.2 with any standard 10k passive expression pedal to unlock smooth, responsive volume control. When activated, the pedal travels from off at the heel position to the level set by the Level knob. When disengaged and in buffered bypass mode, it operates from off to unity gain, offering dynamic versatility.

The Boomster Mk.2 isn’t just a booster—it’s a multi-functional tone tool. From its pristine buffer and dynamic volume pedal functionality to its versatile voicing options, it has been meticulously designed to meet the expectations of contemporary players.
