Jet Guitars JS-400 PLM R Roasted Maple / Rosewood HSS - Plum

Jet Guitars JS-400 PLM R Roasted Maple / Rosewood HSS - Plum

The Jet JS-400 PLM R takes the classic double-cut silhouette and gives it a modern twist, pairing a stunning deep plum finish with a versatile HSS pickup configuration. The contoured poplar body keeps things light and comfortable while delivering a resonant, balanced tone that works across a wide range of styles. This is a guitar that feels instantly familiar yet looks fresh, with enough tonal firepower to cover everything from shimmering cleans to hard-edged rock riffs.

The roasted maple neck, shaped into a comfortable Modern C profile and finished in satin, feels fast and natural under the hand. A rosewood fretboard adds warmth and smoothness to the feel, with a 9.5" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets giving you the flexibility to handle both expressive bending and tight chord voicings. Whether you’re playing fluid lead lines or complex rhythm parts, the neck offers a reliable, comfortable platform for your technique.

At the heart of the JS-400 is its pickup set: a powerful humbucker in the bridge for thick, driven tones, and two single-coils in the middle and neck positions for sparkling clarity and dynamic range. With a 5-way selector and simple volume and tone controls, you can quickly move between glassy cleans, bluesy bite, and full-bodied crunch, making this guitar an adaptable workhorse.

The hardware is gig-ready, with a vintage-style tremolo system for smooth vibrato effects and expressive pitch control, paired with dependable machine heads to keep tuning stable. From laid-back rehearsal jams to high-energy stage performances, this guitar is built to handle it all.

At Musicmaker, we love instruments that can adapt as easily as the players who use them. The Jet JS-400 PLM R is exactly that—versatile, stylish, and ready to deliver, whatever your musical journey demands.
