Jet Guitars JT-300 LPB Roasted Maple - Placid Blue

The Jet Guitars JT-300 Roasted Maple is a perfect choice for guitarists seeking vintage style, modern playability, and outstanding value. Inspired by the timeless single-cut bolt-on designs that have shaped music history, this guitar captures classic tones with an updated feel, making it an excellent option for beginners, intermediates, and professionals looking for a reliable second instrument.

At the heart of the JT-300 is a basswood body, a popular choice for its well-balanced tonal characteristics, delivering warm mids, tight lows, and clear highs. Whether you're playing clean, twangy rhythms or pushing the gain for crunchy rock tones, this guitar handles it all with confidence. The lightweight body ensures comfort during long rehearsals and performances, making it a great gigging instrument.

The roasted Canadian maple neck is a standout feature, adding stability, resonance, and a sleek, satin-like feel under your fingertips. Roasting (or torrefaction) enhances the wood's durability and resistance to temperature and humidity changes, ensuring your guitar stays in tune and performs consistently. Shaped in a modern "C" profile, the neck is comfortable for players of all styles, from rhythm strumming to intricate lead work.

Complementing the neck is a roasted maple fretboard with a 9.5" radius, providing a perfect balance between vintage curve and modern comfort. The 22 frets and 25.5" scale length offer plenty of room for expressive bends and fast runs, making it suitable for blues, rock, country, and beyond. The bone nut (1.65" width) further enhances sustain and tuning stability.

The ceramic single-coil pickups in an SS (single-single) configuration bring clarity, articulation, and that sought-after snap. Expect crisp highs, warm mids, and tight lows, making this guitar suitable for a variety of genres, from funk and blues to indie and classic rock. The 3-way selector switch, along with volume and tone controls, allows for quick and easy tonal adjustments, whether you're playing punchy chords, searing leads, or warm, rolled-off jazz tones.

The fixed bridge keeps everything stable, ensuring consistent tuning and solid sustain. Chrome hardware adds a touch of vintage elegance while ensuring durability. Finished in classic colours, this guitar exudes understated sophistication, making it a stylish addition to any collection.

The Jet Guitars JT-300 Roasted Maple delivers remarkable quality for the price, offering an inspiring instrument that looks, feels, and sounds far above its price tag. Available now at Musicmaker, where we’ve been bringing musicians quality instruments since the early 1980s.
