Koda Wooden Traditional Spoons - Beechwood
Koda Traditional Irish Playing Wooden Spoons
The Koda Wooden Traditional Spoons – Beechwood are a proper nod to traditional folk rhythm — simple, tactile, and surprisingly addictive once you get them in your hands. Whether you’re keeping time in a session or just exploring something a bit different, these bring a whole lot of character with very little fuss.
Made from solid beechwood, they’ve got that natural, organic feel that suits the instrument perfectly. There’s a warmth to both the touch and the sound — bright, percussive clicks with a woody tone that sits beautifully alongside acoustic instruments.
They’re shaped in the classic style, designed to fit comfortably in the hand while allowing for fast, rhythmic playing. Once you get the motion going, they respond really naturally — perfect for building up patterns, adding groove, or just locking into the rhythm of a tune.
The beauty of spoons is in their simplicity. No setup, no tuning — just pick them up and play. They’re ideal for folk, trad, acoustic sessions, and percussive experimentation, but just as fun to mess around with at home.
