Lowden S-21 WL/SS - Walnut / Sitka Spruce
This stunning Lowden S-21 acoustic guitar was, as ever, handmade in Ireland.
The body of the guitar is crafted from high-grade walnut, a tonewood that is known for its rich, warm tone and balanced sound. The top of the guitar is made from sitka spruce, a popular tonewood that is renowned for its excellent projection and tonal clarity. The combination of these tonewoods gives the guitar a warm and balanced sound that is responsive to a wide range of playing styles.
The S-21 WL/SS has a small-body shape that is comfortable to play and easy to handle. The guitar's body features Lowden's signature soundbox bevel, which adds to the guitar's comfort by allowing the player's arm to rest more comfortably on the edge of the guitar. The guitar also features a cutaway design, which provides easy access to the upper frets.
The guitar's neck is crafted from five pieces of mahogany and rosewood, which adds to the guitar's stability and strength. The neck is shaped in Lowden's comfortable "C" shape, making it easy to play and comfortable for extended periods of time.
The S-21 WL/SS also features a range of high-quality appointments, including a rosewood bridge and fingerboard, a bone nut and saddle, and gold Gotoh 510 tuners. The guitar also features Lowden's innovative split saddle design, which helps to improve intonation across the fretboard.
The Lowden S-21 comes with a Lowden Hiscox case and certificate.
