sE Electronics V7X Dynamic Instrument Microphone
The sE Electronics V7X Dynamic Instrument Microphone is an extremely versatile microphone designed to capture the natural and dynamic sound of various instruments, including guitars, brass instruments, percussion, and more. With its exceptional clarity, rugged construction, and innovative features, the V7X is a reliable choice for both live and studio applications. Featuring a specialised dynamic capsule, the V7X is engineered to capture the nuances and subtleties of instruments with exceptional detail and accuracy. It delivers a natural and transparent sound reproduction, allowing the true character and tonal qualities of the instrument to shine through.
The microphone's supercardioid polar pattern provides excellent off-axis rejection, reducing unwanted background noise and bleed from other instruments or stage sound sources. This focused pickup pattern ensures that the main sound source is captured with precision, resulting in a clean and isolated recording. The V7X boasts a wide frequency response of 30Hz to 19kHz, allowing it to accurately capture the full spectrum of instrument sounds. From deep lows to sparkling highs, the V7X faithfully reproduces the dynamic range and tonal characteristics of the instrument, ensuring a vibrant and natural sound reproduction.
Built with durability in mind, the V7X features a rugged zinc alloy construction that can withstand the rigours of live performances and touring. Its integrated shock mount effectively reduces handling noise and vibrations, allowing for clean and professional recordings. Equipped with a specialised internal windscreen, the V7X minimises plosives and unwanted wind noise, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted performances. This internal windscreen also protects the microphone's capsule from moisture and debris, contributing to its long-lasting performance.
The V7X comes with a patented integrated capsule suspension system that effectively isolates the capsule from mechanical vibrations, further enhancing its clarity and transient response. This ensures that the microphone captures the instrument's nuances and dynamics with precision and accuracy.
