Planet Waves PW-CP-09 Black NS Tri-Action Capo
Meet your new gig bag essential. The Planet Waves PW-CP-09 Black NS Tri-Action Capo isn’t just another clamp for your fretboard—it’s a precision-engineered marvel designed to solve the classic capo conundrums. From uneven pressure and string buzz to on-the-fly adjustments, this capo handles it all with style and smarts.
Crafted from sleek, aircraft-grade aluminium, the PW-CP-09 is a featherlight yet rugged companion for any six-stringer. Its patented Tri-Action mechanism delivers uniform tension across every string, no matter your guitar’s neck radius, ensuring you spend more time making music and less time retuning. The integrated micrometer allows you to tweak tension to absolute perfection, eliminating fret buzz and enhancing intonation across the board.
Thanks to its ergonomic, single-handed design, this capo slides on and off with grace—ideal for quick changes mid-set or mid-song. And when it’s not in use? It clips securely to your headstock, looking as good as it is practical. Oh, and there’s even a handy little pick holder tucked in, because Planet Waves knows what players really need.
This is the kind of gear that makes you wonder how you ever lived without it. Whether you're fingerpicking your way through folk ballads or laying down chunky chords in a rock anthem, the PW-CP-09 delivers consistency, clarity, and class. It’s no surprise that serious players who visit Musicmaker—Dublin’s home of tone since the early '80s—swear by this bit of kit.
