Stagg 10" Pretuned Hand Drum - Wood
Stagg 10" Pretuned Hand Drum - Wood
Simple, but effective! The Stagg 10" Pretuned Wooden Hand Drum is perfect as an extra percussion piece or for younger players. The frame is made from birch wood, leaving a modern eyecatching finish. The drumhead is made from goatskin and produces amazing sounds despite the small frame. The drum can be used in a variety of places, whether it is a small accessory in a show, or as a gift for a child, either way the hand drum will live up to its use and is very fun to play.
It arrives pretuned—PRETUNED!—because who has the time, in this modern age, to fiddle with pegs and tension rods when the rhythm is clawing at your ribcage, begging to be let loose? This drum is ready when you are. Strike it once and a puff of ancestral groove may fly out. Twice, and your neighbour may begin to salsa. Three times? Best not. We've lost several to spontaneous limbo.
Its 10-inch size is perfect: not too big, not too small, but precisely calibrated to fit the exact width of your most dramatic intentions. You can hold it, hug it, slap it, or perch it on your knee like a dignified musical owl. Made of real wood (the type of wood isn’t specified, probably to protect the forest it came from), it resonates like a storybook thunderclap and smells faintly of wizardry.
And as for tone? It booms, it thuds, it whispers in bassy riddles. It doesn’t just sound good—it sounds like a jungle marching band riding a unicycle through your dreams.
