Taylor Gold Label 517e SB Torrified Spruce / Mahogany - Sunburst
Taylor Gold Label 517e SB Torrified Spruce / Mahogany - Sunburst
The Gold Label 517e SB is Taylor’s soulful reimagining of the Grand Pacific, wearing a rich sunburst finish that seems to glow with depth before you strike a chord. Its torrefied Sitka spruce top sounds like it’s already broken in—golden, warm, and resonant—while solid mahogany back and sides bring woody midrange clarity and a restrained, rounded warmth.
The slope-shouldered Grand Pacific body gives every strum a refined, full-bodied resonance. Inside, V-Class bracing enhances harmonic richness, sustain, and volume with natural balance. The satin-finished mahogany neck rests familiarly in your hand, and the West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard offers smooth playability and defined articulation. Elegant styling includes cream binding, a firestripe pickguard, and crest inlays that catch the light without stealing the focus.
When it’s time to plug in, the LR Baggs Element VTC system faithfully captures the guitar’s acoustic character, particularly its deep low-end warmth. Whether you're playing solo or on stage, the tone stays grounded and true. It comes complete with a luxe Taylor hardshell case for stylish and secure travel.
