The Alvarez LP60e Laureate Parlour – Sunset Gloss is one of those guitars that feels like it’s been built with intent from the ground up. Everything about it — from the wood selection to the bracing to the finish — is geared towards getting the most out of the instrument. This isn’t just a nice parlour guitar, it’s a properly considered build.

Starting with tone, you’ve got a AAA solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid African mahogany back and sides, which is a seriously musical combination. The Sitka gives you clarity, headroom and a quick response, while the mahogany brings warmth and a strong, focused midrange. Because the tops are carefully thickness-sanded and selected for stiffness, the whole guitar feels more alive — it responds quickly, with great note separation and a really open voice.
